Don't be offering too much to anyone. Keep things close for now.
If the most helpful are the mafia, then we tie our hands. There is a lot of setup and actions and they could be used to find traitors rather easily. Knowing the powers of the knights/padawans does not mean we can do them.
Volunteering that you can seer, for example, can go rather poorly.

Obifett has given the Council the common abilities of the Knights and Padawans. (But of course, we can also expect there to be some special Jedis who do not need planetary control for additional abilities.) On the council boards, Matev is advocating splitting the Knights into two groups: half will go for Meditate, and half will go for Missions. It doesn't look like there's a plan yet for how to perform this split, but I will keep you guys informed on where the discussions go.

All right, I finally caught up with everything. I'm thinking that we should have everyone show up as jedi for a while, then spring the flip flop on everyone later. While everyone showing up as sith will discredit the seerings earily, getting people to seer as jedi will let the council members and other people infiltrate networks. Then we can spring it later when we're not going to be seered and cripple networks.
Also: Coruscant Planet Power:
While Coruscant is under Jedi Control, you may vote out any Knight or Padawan. This is done similar to voting in the main thread, public to the council, but hidden from the rest of the Order. Vote in red for who you want to vote out. Vote in green to retract. Vote on this proboard.
So, yeah. The Jedi Council is pretty much the Star Chamber.

Volunteering that you can seer, for example, can go rather poorly. Well, to be fair, I'm pretty sure we can return perfect information.

It puts you in a situation where you have to tell the truth or lie. Speaking words either way over time is detrimental to mafia. This is why I am an asshole and shake everyone up publicly in thread, and not privately. I am shaking people for mafia-lunch-money.

Ok so MrT (master) and I have been talking. Since it was given what paddies can pretty much do he and I have been talking a bit. He seems really interested in my once use of challenge.

So, uh. I just realized. How exactly are the Jedi supposed to get rid of Sith Masters? They can't vote them out, they don't have any murder powers, and the Star Chamber doesn't work on masters. I guess some of the planetary powers would help with that, but right now its kind of... huh. I have the mental image of Darth Sidious singing something like this in the Council Chamber

I like how one of our Padawan-level sith abilities is almost guaranteed to be useless, unless you luck into a knight who went afk.

It looks like the Council is moving toward recommending a full-on Meditation session for the Knights. That's good for some reasons, but... what happens if the Padawans expect something of our Sith Sabers and get nothing? We could have as many as four of us exposed right off the bat. In addition, I bet everyone on the Council is going to be Protecting a Knight, meaning we could get ourselves blocked pretty badly out there.

My "padawan" finally got back to me. He says that for every night he trains, he gets a one-off roleblock.
Also, Matev sent me this lovely message: Meditate on The Anonymous, having my padawan support me. If either of us do not report results to the council, we will be perceived as Sith and executed.

I'm guessing Matev decided how to split up the knights since I got a similar message. Does the whole council know how the split went?
