Day 1 - Return of the Empire

I'm a Sith Saber. I have two powers to choose from each night. I can mess with the points the light side assign a planet by cutting them in half. I can also pick a target and potentially assinate them depending on the actions of the player

I've created a thread for listing our abilities. I believe my Cloud Minds ability could be very, very useful. Anybody got ideas for how we should set up our Sith names? Shall we make them thematic or shall we keep them unthemed?

It seems like the sabers would be best off targeting the Knights, as they seem most likely to fulfill the conditions required for a kill.

Making everyone seer sith is my suggestion, since it gives them no info and is more likely to lead them on goose hunts at first.

Reversal is valid information if they realize when/how it happened.

That's what I'm thinking as well. Since information is highly prized, I suspect a lot of Knights are going to stick with what they know and use Meditation. Sabers can take out the Knights that follow this plan of action and I can use Cloud Minds to confuse the results. (I was thinking all-Jedi at first, but all-Sith works too.) Since we don't have a group kill, we'll have to bet on the Knights wanting Info over Influence - but we can make quite an impact on the first day.

As for our planetary control points, I think we should divide them approximately equally among 5 planets. Then, on day 2, we make some surgical strikes to turn two planets over to our control.

Actually... I am thinking that since I am more likely to be a day 1 target (perhaps repeatedly) by the council, go all-Jedi day 1 and then all-Sith day 2?

Just to make sure I'm not the first one they try to lynch from their "seerings" and all. :rotate:

True enough. I'll plan on making all Meditation results turn up Jedi for now.

Right - I should also mention how the Council sets up their succession lists. Every Council member nominates a list of five Knights and the totals are compiled via Borda Count. (i.e. 5 points for 1st, 4 points for 2nd, etc.) Knights with the highest totals top the succession list; new members of the council may have their say in the vote and old members can change their votes at any time. So there is some strategy and trickiness in terms of how votes are spread out...
